Dear Mr. Mead - My wife, along with our daughter and son-in-law, join me in extending a sincere “thanks” for helping us host a wonderful dinner party in under six weeks in honor of Debbie and Farmun’s wedding.

Chef Anthony’s kitchen provided customized dishes that were not only delicious and visually appealing, but well thought out and memorable as well. This held true from the cocktail hour and seated dinner through dessert. The bar service, and the selection of beverages, matched the sophistication and appearance of the food. The specialty cocktail was refreshing and unique.

Most would agree that it is not the food, drink and venue that make an event, but the service. The service that was delivered to our guests was top notch, five star, second to none. Your team was impeccable and extremely attentive and accommodating while simultaneously being unobtrusive. Each and every request was granted, and every detail carefully planned.

All of this was complemented by the 360-degree view from the forty-second and forty-third floors of the Ritz. What could have been better on a beautiful summer evening?

Although you were the “face” of Kanopi it is apparent that there was a talented team working with you that ensured the seamless execution of our event.

We have received so many calls from family and friends telling us what a fine time they had Saturday night. I am so pleased that Kanopi was our venue of choice, and that you were there to coordinate it all with us. I would highly recommend Kanopi for anyone looking for a sophisticated venue for any special occasion, and I look forward to hosting future events there. - Alan

Colin, Chef Goncalves, and Genaro - My family and I would like to express our gratitude for a perfect evening. The air in the room on Saturday was that of complete happiness and pleasure. Thank you to the three of you as well as your whole team. The crew went above and beyond to accommodate our party.

I was extremely impressed with how the staff was attentive and responded to every changing wind. We can plan to the tee but can never anticipate real life! Genaro and his team remained professional and flexible, never rushing us and letting the guests take their time during their meal.

My parents were in awe of the appetizer spread and the generous seconds that the servers kept bringing out to the guests. My nephews loved the appetizers and they kept talking about the Avocado sushi served on the spoon. Unfortunately I was only able to eat some of the cheese and meat spread and the Chicken Skewer. All of which was delicious!

I loved the whole meal especially the Portuguese Codfish which was fresh and moist and so delicious. As well I enjoyed everything else including the dessert and truffles at the end. No one ate my wedding cake but that's ok as your dessert was far better.

Speaking on behalf of everyone we had the most memorable and pleasant evening with beloved friends & family. For myself as the bride it was a truly special night beyond my highest expectations.

You are truly blessed to have such a great group of people working for you who clearly love what they do.  It has been a long 10 months on the road and I have worked with many different teams in many different places and I can confidently say your service is on a completely other level. I just want to let you know that the event was amazing. Have only had the most positive responses from some of the guests that attended. Nothing was missing and everything was perfect. I have been to many events and restaurants around the world and to be quite honest have never seen a presentation done as well and guests enjoying everything so much. Unfortunately, I didn’t eat much but never really do and part of my job is seeing everyone else enjoyed everything as they did.

Colin - Now that the dust has settled after Christmas (and before New Year celebrations) I wanted to write you and thank you for your help with the Frictionless event.

The decor was just beautiful, the food and hospitality were nothing short of amazing, and everything worked perfectly. The menus were the finishing detail, and many people saved them as souvenirs!
